music can set the tone for any occasion
Choosing music for a funeral service is very personal. What is right for you would be totally unsuitable for someone else. The traditional funeral hymns of the past have now been gradually replaced with modern funeral songs.
You don’t have to sing hymns. You can choose a calm and uplifting classical composition, or a song by a favourite artiste.
positive memories
Funeral music plays an important role in the funeral ceremony and help to remember the departed person. Certain songs remind us of the person who passed away and bring back positive memories. Alter the mood of the service with your choice of music. There is absolutely no reason why you can’t play happy and uplifting music at a funeral. It can provide comfort to family and friends, reminding them of better times and giving them a reason to smile.
